Established in July, 2007 – Iris Life Solutions Private Limited was an entrepreneurial venture started by Dr Elangovan. Iris started as an animal health company, and focused on specializing in poultry medicine and treatment. We focus on the wellbeing of animals, and believe in the ‘one health initiative’. Iris’ broad product portfolio for poultry – which are differentiated in the branding with high quality, and cost effective; deliver value for our customers. We, at Iris, think that our team and distributor network are critical to achieving maximum performance, and aggressive growth. All of our products are rigorously tested at different stages of production, packing, distribution to ensure optimum quality. Branding and packaging of Iris’ products appeal to our customers combined with good quality, maximize customer satisfaction. We prioritize relationships with stakeholders in the animal health industry, in particular, the poultry farmers, people involved in the poultry value chain, the veterinarians, the distributors, and poultry associations regionally and nationally in India as well as globally.

Established in 2007, Iris Life Solutions Private Limited, was the first entrepreneurial venture of Dr Elangovan in the animal health industry in India. Dr Elangovan has the experience of growing as a veterinary professional from the grass roots in the animal health industry, then, working with multiple responsibilities for Indian Animal Health Corporates, Multi-National Animal Health Corporates, and in partner ventures between Indian Corporates and MNC’s in the animal health industry. Understanding the dynamics of the Indian Animal Health industry, and the opportunity in the animal health growth story, Dr Elangovan believes that investing in the Indian Animal Health industry will be the fastest growing and among the most profitable ventures. In his earlier assignment he worked for: M/S. Himalaya Drug Company (As Business Manager Animal Health Care) M/S .Indo Bio Care P Ltd (As National Business Head Marketing Lohmann & Elanco Products), Merind LTD, A Wockhardt Enterprise (As Regional Manager) Fort Dodge Animal Health (As Area Manager) Dr Elangovan is good at launching products, concept selling and business restructuring. He understands the importance of the grassroots and the market dynamics are critical for the growth of the company - scaling products rurally and in urban markets.
